Here is another stiory about one of my students here at Victoria University including an international component into thier studies. Carla Sheridan recently returned from having a wonderful experience working for a hotel in London, then with Top Deck Travel.
It’s a great story to listen to, especially if you are a student and are thinking about travelling as part of your studies. My advice to you is DO IT!!!!
Are you currently studying at a university? Are you thinking about incorporating an international study component to your education? Then consider becoming an International Student - it’s great!!!
Felix Thielmann, a Geman student currently studying in Melbourne, Australia, talks about his experience at being an International Student.
The last edition of the Travel Show spoke about a micro brewery in Beechworth. This edition tracks the progress made by Angus (my 6 month old little boy) as we keep walking around this pretty little Victoria town.
One of the things that really interests me about this region is the Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail. This is a 100kms of some very beautiful cycle pathway.
Angus and I met Beth, a local resident of Beechworth, a lovely girl, and a cyclist. Beth tells us about her experience in riding this rail trail.
I was in Beechworth (a pretty little country town in northern Victoria, Australia) the other day, wandering around the streets with my 7 month old son Angus clipped to my chest in his little carry harness. We checked out museums, old book shops, antique shops, and….a pub.
Infact, it was less of a pub and more of a boutique brewery named the Bridge Road Brewers. While there, we had a chat to Ben Kraus, the brewer. Ben tells us all about the brewery experience.
In this podcast, Judi and Don Corcoran talk about their time in Mykinos, Greece. The use of a small mp3 field recorder has allowed Judi and Don to be sitting at a cafe and to simply describe what they see. It’s a good listen.
I was recently interviewed on SBS radio by Greg Muller as part of the World View program. The theme was “What is Fear” and Greg asked me questions about fear in adventure tourism.
This is a repurposed podcast. The full interview can be heard here.
