Travel Show Podcast #024: Micro Breweries in Melbourne
The Travel Show #024 (MP3 - 4.2MB - 12:00min)
In this podcast, Michaela Morris and Penny Mouyis (two students of mine here at Victoria University) talk about micro breweries here in Melbourne. It’s a great way to travel.
To find out more about the breweries mentioned, check out this website.

Again, I enjoyed your Podcast and your visit to SIX microbreweries in Melbourne. I must try The Mountain Goat pale ale when I next visit Melbourne (maybe in 2007). In Halifax, Nova Scotia, two well-known microbreweries are Propellerhead and The Garrison House. My favourite micro-brew is Rickard’s Honey Brown from New Brunswick, the next province west.
As you may recall, I present tourist and tourism technology at http://www.thetouristexperience.com. In a posting back in July, I compared two trip planning tools on the internet. My “test” was a bicycle tour of the wineries in the Finger Lakes area of upper-state New York (see http://thetouristexperience.com/2006/07/22/find-your-travel-agent-via-1trip3com/). I wanted to visit the wineries on bike. I can see a podcast such as yours fitting in with such a planning tool — maybe with a “podburst” for each micro-brewery.
Congratulations to your two students. They peppered their presentation with very interesting beer facts. Your Podcast made me thirsty, and I have no beer at home! Oh well, green tea sounds good.
Cheers
Edward
