Travel Show Podcast #008 (MP3 - 7MB - 20min)

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST HERE

The Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island are two of the “must do” day trips if you are staying in Melbourne but want to get out and see some of the sights and experience the unique wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas and Little Penguins.

Terry Smits from Go West Tours (http://www.gowest.com.au/index.html) talks with a lot of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm about these places.

If you are coming to Melbourne and are looking for things to do, then you should be listening to this podcast.

Doc Martin.

I hope if you mentioned Warrnambool (my old home town) you mentioned Kermonds Hamburgers, the greatest Hamburgers in the World bar none!

Kermonds Hamburgers….mmmmm….sounds bloody good. Molly, I’m sorry that they didnt get a mention in this podcat, but I will try to pop in for one next time I’m down. I’m assuming they have mandatory beetroot and thick cut chips there.

    Doc Martin.

  3. Phillip Molly Malone Says:

Thick chips yes, but never had beetroot. This isn’t a fish and chip shop Hamburger! Its a dedicated Hamburger joint.
If you want to have a look at what they look like (not that they look much, its the taste that is fantastic), you can check out this photo of a Double Bacon, Double Sauce (the sauce is probably my favourite part of the burger) burger from my last vistor down there (my parents live in Portland now):

    Enjoy.

Great use of iPods in the Travel industry! Check out the Podcast…

Just listening to the Travel Show on The Podcast Network as they were talking about The Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island, two local areas of Victoria. If you follow the Ocean Road to its end, you virtually end up at Warrnambool, the place I grew up….

  5. martin Says:

Molly….I think we need to talk more about Warrnambool.

Any chance that we could podcast a chat about this worlds best burger making, and other quality reasons for visiting, destination?
